Why are so many of the most successful consumer startups also so unimaginably vapid?
For all those reasons, I’m not sure SXSW would have the same draw for me today. It seems like a sad anachronism: a gathering for those who care less about world-changing products and services, and more about the latest fucking location fucking based fucking mobile fucking app.
